This wonderful map of Lake Miltona in Douglas County, Minnesota features 14 layers of premium Baltic Birch wood. It's an example of a situation where strict uniformity is not always the best approach. Lake Miltona can be pretty shallow out from the shoreline, so while most of the lake is done at 10 foot layer increments, I added an extra layer at the first 5 foot interval to reveal some more structure.
The map shown was commissioned by Sara, who opted to not have the game fish featured on her map. Future map orders would contain images of the local fish species, unless otherwise requested.
