These aren’t just maps.

They’re pieces people connect to — places they’ve lived, shared, and come back to.

Real words from people who trusted me to make something meaningful.

Big Pine Lake – shaped like an elephant's head – laser cut depth map by Laser Lakes

“It is BEAUTIFUL.”

It looks amazing.

And the detail in the extra pieces — also astonishing. I can’t believe how many details you pulled out in our cabin.

My dad teared up when we gave this to him, just as we expected. He absolutely loved this and, just like me, could not believe the amount of detail you put into this, including the cutout of the cabin.

He decided to hang it above the TV in the cabin, on the center wall, so everyone will see it. He loves all of it.

Thanks again for making this lasting memory so incredibly great for my dad. I cannot thank you enough.

“No single map maker could include ALL the features I was looking for.”

I first saw Laser Lakes artwork at The Woods in Maple Grove, Minnesota. I was drawn to the lake map’s many layers, the precise shoreline detail, and the earth tone hues.

I had been looking at lake maps for years, and each company had some features I liked — but no single map-maker could include ALL the features I was looking for.

I reached out to Nate, and he responded that same day. He was genuine and friendly, encouraging me to think about the custom details I would like to include.

I had many requests, and he accommodated them all… a loon, fish present in the lake, compass, inlet, outlet, scale, public launch, free text, nearby roads, custom engraving on the back, and even a tiny laser replica of my house placed in its proper spot on the lake.

The price was more than fair, and the transaction was simple.

As luck would have it, our cabins are in close proximity, so he delivered the map.

I don’t know who was more overjoyed — myself upon seeing our beloved lake in its detailed glory, or Nate’s excitement in giving this creation to me.

It was evident he poured his heart into this piece, and the final result exceeded my expectations. It will be an heirloom to pass down for generations to come.

Thank you, Nate!

Bay Lake detail: precision cuts revealing depth transition

“I knew instantly I had to have one.”

For years, I've always wanted a 3D map of our childhood lake that we still, to this day, live on. But something always felt off about the options I found.

Then, at Deerwood Days, I stumbled upon Nate's booth and was blown away by the incredible detail in his maps. I knew instantly I had to have one for our lake.

Working with Nate was a breeze. He was patient, accommodating, and clearly passionate about his craft.

The final product exceeded my expectations… a stunning laser map, complete with my requested details.

“The finished piece brought happy tears.”

Working with Nate was an incredible experience!

He was always responsive and open to our ideas and suggestions. Every time we proposed an idea, he would enthusiastically run with it and send back pictures for our review.

We went back and forth for two months, and he never once got impatient or pushed us to accept his drafts.

The finished piece brought happy tears to our Mom. It includes special meanings throughout the map for our family, and Nate captured everything perfectly!

“None compare to what we got.”

Nate was an absolute joy to work with, from the moment I met him until he delivered the finished product.

He had great communication with me, and he was always excited about what he was going to do on the map.

We have looked at many of these lake maps, and none compare to what we got.

“His attention to detail was outstanding.”

We met Nate at Oktoberfest in Ruttger’s at Bay Lake.

Nate was awesome to work with. His attention to detail on our lake was outstanding.

His passion for what he does made the piece even more special.

His map will lead to many discussions at our cabin.

I make the kind of pieces I’d want to hang in my own home.

If you don’t see your lake yet, I’d be happy to make one for you.
