Why Laser Lakes?

The Difference is in the Details

There are a lot of lake maps out there.

I don’t try to make the most — I am focused on making the best map I possibly can. Every single time.

Every Laser Lakes map is built to capture not just the shape of a lake, but the character of it — the details that make it familiar, meaningful, and worth remembering.

The Full Picture

From across the room, it’s a clean, beautiful map.

Up close, the details start to reveal themselves — and they keep revealing themselves the longer you look.

Detail by Design

With 10–16 layers and extremely fine cuts, even small structure — points, pockets, and underwater features — are preserved.

Revealing the details of your lake in a way you’ve never seen before.

High Contrast That Brings the Lake to Life

Alternating stained and natural wood layers aren’t just for looks. I don’t paint my maps — I use stain instead, so the natural wood grain can still show through. That’s a big part of what gives each piece its warmth and character. Rather than everything blending together, the structure of the lake stands out and reveals something new depending on the angle and lighting.

Not A Lake Map - Your Lake Map

Whether it’s a loon you see every morning or the fish you’ve spent years chasing, these details turn the map into something personal. From birds, to bears, trees to turtles, I include the wildlife that matters to you.

Clearly Defined, Down to the Fish

Details so precise, you can practically see the scales on the fish. Seriously.

A Sense of Scale

The scale marker gives a real sense of how big the lake is — and yes, people do use their fingers to measure it.

Combined with lake data like acreage, depth, and shoreline length, it adds context without clutter.

Your Place on Your Lake

Instead of a dot or a star, I engrave an actual image of your cabin or home on a separate piece. You complete the map by attaching the final piece — something recognizable, something personal, something that makes it yours.

Big Detail, Small Footprint

These engravings aren’t large — but they’re incredibly detailed.

Send me a photo of your cabin or home, and I’ll engrave it at no additional charge.

If your place changes, I’ll engrave and send you a new one — free.

Built to Hang. Made to Last.

Every map is designed to hang clean and flat against the wall, with a built-in flush mount groove on the back.

No extra hardware. No guesswork. Just a solid, finished piece.

Each map can also include a custom engraved message on the back — whether it’s a gift, a thank you, or something personal.

Customization Isn’t an Add-On

Every detail — wildlife, fish, cabin engraving, personalization — is included.

I don’t charge extra for the things that make the map yours.

Because the difference isn’t one feature — it’s everything, working together.
