This "Summer Sunny In a Tree" ornament is possibly my favorite. This lake scene features a Girl and a Boy catching fish on the dock. The scene also features a Duck, Goose, Moose, Crane, Crappie, Sunfish, Bass and a cabin. I personally get a lot of enjoyment catching sunfish off the dock in the summer, and this ornament always reminds me of those relaxing times.
Additionally, this is one of my most intricate ornaments, and the design took an embarrassing number of revisions to get it right. If you take a look at the photo, you will see some details which are less than 1/50th of an inch thick. I personally keep this ornament on my fireplace mantle year round. If you know anybody who has just appreciated a relaxing day on the dock, catching Sunnies, this ornament would make a cherished gift!
