The finished table is roughly 48 by 44 inches, with the lake map protected beneath a glass top.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe owners had been thinking about a Bay Lake table map for well over a year. They researched the idea, explored different artists and approaches, and waited until they found the right fit.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis was not simply a larger version of one of my normal maps. Nearly every part of it required a new solution: designing at this scale, keeping all 17 layers aligned, building enough structure to support the weight, and figuring out how the map and table could truly become one finished piece.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt pushed my equipment, skills, patience, and creative problem-solving farther than anything I have built so far.
